Flint Northwestern High School is located in Flint, Michigan and is part of the Flint Community School District. The school was built in 1964 and welcomed its first year of students in September of that year. After initial construction, the high school was dedicated to the Flint Community Schools Board of Education by Claude E. Stout in April of 1965. Additions to the building were a swimming pool in November 1964, drivers training range in December 1964 and the Guy V. Houston football stadium in the Fall of 1967. Originally serving students in grades 10-12, the school now serves students in grades 8-12.
